broken social scene
Broken Social Scene is a Canadian indie rock band, a musical collective including as few as six and as many as nineteen members, formed in 1999 by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. Most of its members currently play in various other groups and solo projects, mainly based around the city of Toronto. The band refuses the label "supergroup," based on size or the ubiquity of their members, claiming that in the indie scene everyone is involved in more than one project. The group's sound could be considered a combination of all of its members' respective musical projects, and is occasionally considered baroque pop. It is characterized by a very large number of sounds, grand orchestrations featuring guitars, horns, woodwinds, and violins, unusual song structures, and an experimental, and sometimes chaotic production style from David Newfeld, who produced the second and third albums.

Benjamin Siksou
Benjamin Siksou (born 8 February 1987 in Ivry-sur-Seine), is a French singer-songwriter and actor. He sings in a "jazz blues" style and plays the guitar, piano, and the violin.
Benjamin Siksou was born from a visual-artist mother and media consultant father[1][2]. This precocious musician grew up between the thirteenth and the sixth arrondissement of Paris. He began taking violin and tennis classes in 1989 at the age of two and a half years, but in 2000 a knee injury prevented him from realizing his childhood dream of becoming a professional tennis player[3][4]. Benjamin devoted himself entirely to his other passion of music, and in 2002 he started to write and compose his first songs. He also joined a band with some of his friends from his college and, beginning in 2005, performed in Parisian jazz bars such as the Caveau des Oubliettes, the Melody Blues, the Swan Bar, and the café Le Charteux. At the time Benjamin was taking influences from songs such asBillie Jean, Hallelujah[5], Just the Two of Us, and Summertime, and was already playing his own compositions like Just know that I knew[6][7], On the Ground, Work Another Day, and Ma muse mon égérie.
In 2007, now studying in his second year of art history, Benjamin decided to interrupt his studies to dedicate himself to music, and obtained his first roles in the film industry in the same year[8][9][10].
Some of the musicians that have influenced Siksou are: John Lee Hooker, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Jeff Buckley, Ella Fitzgerald, Alain Bashung, Lauryn Hill,John Coltrane, and James Chance[11][12][13].

Blink 182 "in discussions" to top T In The Park 2011
While nothing is confirmed yet, the Daily Recordclaims that the band are “in discussions”, and would be “honoured” to play.
It’s worth noting that they will be over here on their UK tour at that time, with 9 and 10 July currently free.
Foo Fighters are the only band confirmed for the festival so far, while organisers announced earlier today that early bird tickets have sold out.
Additional tickets will go on sale in February.
T In The Park 2011 takes place at Balado, Kinrosson 8-10 July.
